Since you sent the orginal I doubt not sending a copy of just one form would be a problem. I mean people make mistakes. If they really do need a copy than they can just go to the copy machine for a couple of minutes and do it themselves. I'm sure they try to find an excuse everyday to get out of their chairs for a while lol.

I'm sorry to hear that. Look on the bright side. Last week you were worried about your passport so I'm just glad that is not a problem anymore. So I just wish that everything goes smoothly and you join your husband even if it takes an extra month. :) I hope they give you the first available interview in May.

I did not send a copy for DS-230 too. I think they want copies instead of the original documents that will be returned to u, but not for applications i think

I send NVC email to ask if my packages arrives them .. the post office man told my husband that his certified mail will arrive by wednesday..

Dear Sir/Madam

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm if your mail was received at the NVC. Once your mail is received and matched with your case appropriate action will be taken. Please allow at least 20 business days from the day the mail was sent for it to be matched with the case file and reviewed.

Is that mean it didn't arrive or what

Don't worry - it doesn't mean you mail hasn't arrived we got exactly the same response, even though we knew our mail had arrived and been accepted. It appears to take around 10 days for NVC to actually get the received mail on their system. Hang on in there.

I can't wait till this mess is finally over and I can actually LIVE with my own husband!

So, only 3 weeks left for you guys. Got everything packed?

I just found in my bag a photocopy of the DS-230 that I apparently forgot to include. Hope that is not a problem.

That's fine. You were only supposed to send in photocopies of the civil documents (birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc). You're okay good.gif

Haha. I've been pretty much packed for months now laughing.gif If I was told I was moving tomorrow, I'd be good to go. I'm usually a procrastinator too, but I want to get to the USA so badly already that I'm completely prepared laughing.gif

Hey, everyone, Mrs. P wanted me to tell all of you that she says hi! :) She's really busy at the moment as she's in her last week of school and dealing with NVC as well has just made her extremely busy and hectic. She says she'll return soon once the craziness of school ends. Let's all send her some good vibes yes.gif

Well....tomorrow is our first wedding anniversary and I am not with Gary. He is 4,000 miles away in England. I am so happy to be married to such a wonderful man. This I vow, will be the ONLY anniversary that we spend apart. Gary had an eternity ring sent to me today and I guess I am just feeling so sad that the laws of the world will not allow me to be with the man I adore. Gary has spent almost a year away from his home. I know we are very close to being ONE again and that is keeping me going.

PEACE AND LOVE TO EVERYONE!!!! If you are with your loved one....give Him/Her a HUGE hug and never take for granted being together! heart.gifrose.gif

CONGRATS to everyone who has gotten thru NVC and have their interviews!!! good.gifkicking.gif
