OMG I called nvc n he was really friendly n he said 2 not worry bout my passport situation 2 much. Yay n he also siad my request 4 expedite was under final review. He said it seems like we have a pretty good case and that we should receive an answer by 2morrow or Monday! Omg I'm really praying I get the xpedite! I wanna see my family soooo bad!

Hi everybosy, actually i was asking be4, if i ccan send NVC exepedit mail 4 my case, however i already just sent them my 2 packages..

if i can send them that mail what should i write on it ? is there any example or steps in writting

Morning all.

Still stuck in the NVC expedite black hole. No change on the AVR this morning, still waiting for the $200 bank statement evidence that was sent two days ago. I suppose that's kinda better news - at least there are no further heart attack inducing messages.

Had a nice email from London Embassy who I contacted regarding the matter. They'd like to help, but can do nothing whilst NVC is processing...

Our one year wedding anniversary on Sunday, like many on here, we'll be apart, and it will be painful.

Called NVC and they said "it was boxed up today and has today's stamp" he also added that, that doesn't mean it will be sent out today. Whatever!

Really hoping that's my case!

My case has been approved for expedites on 29th March. When I called NVC, an operator told me my process will be forwarded to next shipment and that might be tomorrow (March 30). When I called yesterday, my case is still in NVC and they have no guidelines when they gonna ship to Embassy. I think My expedites came in a wrong time when NVC is about to review my DS230 and complete my case. How is your case going?

hahahahha thanks Saylin!!!! I need that dancing carlton from celldoc, now that would complete it ! Amazing how perfect the day went, I guess frontloading at the USCIS stage really does work. They had all of our photos, everything..they asked us VERY basic questions, and said congratulations, you are approved! The woman who interviewed us was so nice and personable, we really lucked out

Well he said I should still try and get it or atleast a letter 4rm someone explaining why I can't get. But if I can't 2 not worry 2 much cuase I'm not applying 4 visa but 4 a lawfull permanant resident so I guess it is .. I'm still going 2 try and get it though. I'm so anxiouse 2 know if I'm getting expedite! I really hope u guys get ur problem fixed 2!

Approved!!!!!!!!!! :dance: We are sooo excited and happy, it was a beautiful day in Bogota (meaning no rain haha) and the woman who interviewed us was one of the nicest people ever. We are so thankful for everything, for all the help my fellow visa journey friends have given us. This was the best anniversary gift ever! It wasn't crowded at all, so we got out of there in less than 3 hours, that is almost record time for the Bogota consulate

My case has been approved for expedites on 29th March. When I called NVC, an operator told me my process will be forwarded to next shipment and that might be tomorrow (March 30). I sent the expedite request 3 times I think. NVC was taking a long time to give me a case # so the first one was a combo "give me a # and then expedite me" I sent this to both the NVC and embassy last Thursday and then last Friday morning. I got a case # last Friday and immediately sent NVC a revised request for expedite and to the consulate as well. NVC told me it was reviewing it and Embassy told me to direct my inquiry to local VFS help desk, who said they got my inquiry and were waiting for instructions from Embassy. Meanwhile the AOS invoice came so I paid it. Then on wed they approved the expedite. I hadn't sent any docs to NVC yet and I think they just forwarded the case to the embassy yesterday. Now I'm just waiting to for it to get there so I can start emailing VFS again to see what the next step it.

So I started bugging and emailing NVC before I even had a NVC case # (using my reciept #)

LaraEyes - I am convinced your package is on it's way from the DHL tracking. I also believe our case went to London. To me it is no coincidence that out of four people posting on here in the last few days regarding expedited cases, all four of us see some packages going to our respective embassies? Coincidence? Or NVC being a few days behind in updating their computers.

I think a lot of our cases are done and shipped - we just don't know. I suspect yours, M&K and our cases went out yesterday. I wouldn't think there are too many cases through Santa Domingo - it HAS to be yours.

It looks like quite a heavy package - 7lbs in total, and it has a clearance delay.
