*Note: I don't know if you'll bother to read the whole thread besides the first post, but instead of using the example of EXP19MAR2009A, since June 2009 the new format would be: EXP 19 MAR 2009A. The spaces are now important or you won't find any shipments whatsoever.

I actually used the method listed on the thread to track my package on Monday from NVC to Montreal. Pretty nifty!

I hear ya Erick - NVC is rapidly turning into another TSC.

The word EXPEDITE means nothing to them at all.

I'm beginning to think so... especially with your case. Other than USUCKS, I think I have been pretty lucky thus far... of course... I emailed the ####### out of them until they finally responded.

We are with you...this is nuts. Val just called NVC, and a SECOND operator says we now have to provide ownership of a savings account with just over one dollar in it. You could NOT make it up, and I find this absolutely appalling. We have been on medical expedite since Nov 26th, and they are doing this to us?

Words fail me...and I understand how pissed off you are about providing a PCC you don't need. Once again - NO accountability.

Maybe since TSC/CSC did such a GREAT job with our cases... some of the personnel have been promoted and now work at NVC

Approved!!!!!!!!!! :dance: We are sooo excited and happy, it was a beautiful day in Bogota (meaning no rain haha) and the woman who interviewed us was one of the nicest people ever. We are so thankful for everything, for all the help my fellow visa journey friends have given us. This was the best anniversary gift ever! It wasn't crowded at all, so we got out of there in less than 3 hours, that is almost record time for the Bogota consulate

It was a method I saw posted here a while ago. you go to DHL.com and in the tracking look for reference and put in

EXP 30 MAR 2011A

just change the date (for example 30 above) to whenever u think the package left, and also the month starting tomorrow. It will give you a list. you may have to refresh it. When I first did it for today it only showed 2 entries then I refreshed and it showed 10.

Called NVC and they said "it was boxed up today and has today's stamp" he also added that, that doesn't mean it will be sent out today. Whatever!

Really hoping that's my case!

Oh, that would be bad, very bad. Those people need to stay in TSC and not spread like some plague. They definitely need to be contained in only one area of this process.

You can also call DOS, they would know as well. That's how I found out today that my case arrived at the consulate.

I tried calling DOS, the machine goes on n on n on, when I finally pressed option to talk to a human it said "we are sorry but please call back during regular hours we are open m-f 8-5 and then hung up on me. I called at 2:40. Maybe they are on Eastern time? will try tomorrow.

Yes, it's Eastern time since they're located on the east coast of the US. When you call in, you just have to press 1 and then 0 and then you wait a bit for a visa specialist to get on.

For tracking.... go to this link; DHL tracking. At the bottom of the box... select the country of your Embassy/Consulate. Insert the date that it left NVC in this format: EXP 28 MAR 2011A. select the date range (I always start a day prior" then hit "search". you don't have to select your country... but it will only show about 10 references. If you select your country... it will only pull the references from the country selected.

I know, I love the word too, but that's what the menu option says. "Press 0 to speak with a visa specialist". I the first time I heard the menu option.

OMG I called nvc n he was really friendly n he said 2 not worry bout my passport situation 2 much. Yay n he also siad my request 4 expedite was under final review. He said it seems like we have a pretty good case and that we should receive an answer by 2morrow or Monday! Omg I'm really praying I get the xpedite! I wanna see my family soooo bad!
