Here's the exact email I got. It's definitely clear that it's the optin acceptance, especially since they reply to your optin email and not just a stand-alone email.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Thank you for your interest in processing your case electronically with the National Visa Center (NVC).

Your case has been updated with the email address you have provided to us.

All further communication with NVC will now be done through this email address: NVCElectronic@state.gov.

All documents and forms that we request and require from you should be scanned copies of the originals. The applicant must present all original forms and documents to the Consular officer at the visa interview. Failure to present the required originals at the visa interview will result in a denial or delay in obtaining a visa for the sponsored applicant.

Any questions regarding your petition should now be directed to NVCElectronic@state.gov.

Do you remember if it was from NVC Inquiry or NVC Electronic?

I have a whole folder called 'Visa' dedicated to NVC correspondence. I know where everything is laughing.gif

The supervisor told my wife today that the pack must be reviewed, and will take at maxim 10 days since yesterday. Hang in there. For me was difficult to translate the PCC because is in Finnish and Swedish language and is difficult to find translator for both. Plus the time necessary for the PCC to arrive in Romania and after time to arrive to my wife and NVC it will delay the process. That is the reason that we asked a supervisor to tell them that on travel.state.gov is not needed this PCC since I lived there less than 12 months as they also can see on DS-230 form.

Thanks, I mailed out my letter explaining that we don't need the PCCs (along with a print out of THEIR instructions!) and my husband's passport stamps. My USPS tracking showed that it arrived yesterday, so hopefully it will all be sorted out in 10 business days (although this never should have happened in the first place).

Well, from what I understand London don't ALWAYS demand NVC processing - it's just that our fees were already generated before the expedite was approved by London, so they opted to do it this way.

I have to say though, even though we have been expedited all the way through our process, at the moment, the word EXPEDITE has done absolutely nothing for us. All we can hope for now is an expedited London interview. We still got the most ridiculous RFE from NVC, even though we are in supervisor assisted processing.

If you have a reason for expedite though, it's always worth the attempt. Go for it!

We've already paid all of our fees and sent in all documents, so without this nonsense RFE, our case could have theoretically been completed by now. I actually don't think we are going to request the expedite... we don't have much of a reason beyond the delays we've already experienced due to USCIS error. It seems that at this point, getting out of NVC is the biggest struggle, and I don't think anything can speed up their review of our RFE response. It looks like it doesn't take too long to get an interview at London though... about a month or so from the file leaving NVC, right? I'm still a little bit confused about that whole part of the process and how long we can expect everything to take after CC.

I hope this will end this story and we will have CC. The Finland PCC is on the way to LA at my wife. But it will take time until NVC will receive it and again in the system and again waiting another 20 days. They can just ask me to bring the PCC at the interview and this is better.

So you are actually waiting to get a PCC from Finland even though it shouldn't be required? I am hoping that my letter will be enough... I imagine that it would take FOREVER to get PCCs from Taiwan and China, and I'm just so sick of waiting.

Yes, I think London is about a months wait currently, so that's not too bad. It seems the NVC are sending out ridiculous RFE's (see ours), but there is no way to overcome it it seems, other than to abide by their requests. It all seems so very petty after what we have all been through. Being on expedite has not helped us in the least, not at any stage have we been "sped through the system". It's frustrating to say the least.

Just called the AVR at NVC, and, we have ANOTHER RFE regarding, as they put it "missing or incomplete information in our financial evidence".The nightmare goes on for us.

That was exactly what we got, too. And the nightmare goes on for us, as well. Will do all paperwork next week as I am already getting drained from all these; I guess i also have to look after myself.

We also requested for the new tax transcript for 2010, so we really have to wait. We filed for I-864W, but they said they still need all the other documents. Why do they categorize the I-864 when they would still request for the other documents? The children were clearly included in the Child Citizenship Act.

We would just comply just so we wouldn't have anymore problems with the interview.

How is your case going Wade? Any movement?

No, I feel like I am being stonewalled after the "tactful" ####### chewing the District Director of my Congressman's office gave me earlier this week.

They have everything they need to either Approve or disapprove the wifes I-601, they have had everything for 12 days now.

Maybe those of us who spoke the loudest are now suffering from USCIS payback.................not a conspiracy theorist but wouldn't put it past them. Maybe they will prove me wrong, at least I hope so.

The "system" does not have the same sense of urgency that we do, now if they were in our shoes, what do you think the response would be???
