CSC to TSC to NVC: the Saga continues

fermat: we were approved for an expedite earlier this month, they called us last week after we emailed them the DS-230 and DS-2100, and gave us the interview date..much earlier than either one of us expected.

Valandgary: I definitely understand your frustration, you have a legitimate expedite, and they should treat it as such. It is called an "expedite" for a reason..NVC should send it all over to the embassy, like they have done for countless other expedites. I dont understand why that is such a problem if UK embassy understands the urgency of the situation. I really do not know what you can do, as I imagine you have contacted the embassy and NVC numerous times to ask what is going on, and why it is taking so long.

It's time to up the ante tomorrow I think.

That's awesome, good luck on your interview tomorrow. Was the expedite request based soley on USCIS error? I'm guessing you had other circumstances thrown in there. Shoud I bother sending an email now? I sent in my documents on the 9th.

good, you really should. I cant believe they charge that much, even from the UK! Wow, what a racket. Best of luck to you Gary, you deserve a TRUE expedite.

yeah, it was USCIS error and financial hardship because of the error. I would try, you have nothing to lose really...it won't slow down anything

Gary, please don't worry , don't get frustrated , they are working in our case dont worry, you know every country is different and have there ways of doing things, remember in my case is the same thing , the embassy request to nvc to do the paper work. this is not weird , this is normal, im gonna call tomorrow again(march 31 i have 15 day to have sent the last package), to see any change. but i know your case going to be complete soon , just like mine.

This whole process is daunting. There is a fear in every steps- usics, NVC and now embassy. I have been reading some links for administrative processing(AP) and I am now scared to death. What can we do to avoid AP? Any advice? Thanks

Yes, I know the time will come when we are all settled. It's been a long journey for all of us.

We all understand what you are going through. It appears so near to finish this process and something comes up to discourage our excitements. But we will get through this. When I looked back, I realized that we have come through so much hurdle and frustration and, our sorrow and pain will come to end very soon when we will be united with our loved ones.

Decided to add up the numbers on the first link. There were definitely more than 36k cases transferred. I came up with a total of 38, 256. Nearly 40k!

i sent both my 2 packages on 26/3 and it should be received by NVC 2day...Can i send them email suring this step to expedit mycase because of the situation in Egypt now..Or i'm 2 late..if i could is there any sample what 2 write in the mail

I am sending my DS230 packet (IR5). I know the instructions are very clear however I need to ask if I need to include 2 photos of myself 2 x 2 inches (Petitioner's) or only Beneficiary's?
