Strange that AOS was at NVC on 9 March and DS-230 on 10 March. 22 March AOS was reviewed and DS-230 nothing at all. Operator told me Thursday that now body looked at our DS-230.

Same with me. I sent both packets the same day on 10th. On 22nd they reviewed AOS and send false RFE for DS-230. Before AVM used to say "NVC has reviewed your packet of forms and has found information missing or incomplete a letter has been sent on March 22 explaining what is needed"

Now it says, ""NVC has reviewed your packet of forms and has found information missing or incomplete a letter has been sent on March 24 explaining what is needed".

They did send me e-mail on 24th (for DS-230) so i hope this is what the machine is referring to and not a RFE for DS-230 because i talked to operator on 25th (Friday) and he said he cannot see DS-230 in the system.

I am almost out of TSC blackhole.

Marriage : 2010-06-27

I-130 NOA1 : 2010-07-14

Transferred to Blackhole : 2010-11-02

NOA2 : Feb 15, 2011

NVC:

2/25/11 - received case number, IIN, and gave e-mail IDs.

2/25/11 - Send DS-3032 E-mail

2/28/11 - I-864 (AOS) bill invoiced and paid

3/01/11 - AOS payment status "PAID"

3/02/11 - DS-3032 : Email accepted

3/04/11 - IV bill invoiced (e-mail at 2:30 AM) and paid

3/07/11 - IV payment status "PAID"

3/08/11 - AOS and IV packet sent

3/22/11 - AOS in the system and reviewed that triggered false RFE for IV packet

3/28/11 - DS-230 in the system and SIF

3/29/11 - Case Completed at NVC

4/13/11 - Interview date assigned

5/17/11 - Interview- Approved

5/18/11 - Passport & Visa Picked up from VFS Delhi

5/31/11 - POE (JFK)

The cover sheets I printed from the online payment system instructed me to send them to the same address (31 Rochester Avenue Suite 100) but different Attn: one was (CMR) another was (CMR AOS). I guess I will just ignore this email then. Thanks for setting me straight.

Well, if I remember correctly, AOS and IV are sent to different addresses. Perhaps there's more mail that NVC has to go through at the IV address, thus they haven't gotten to your IV package yet. I'm sure it will be gotten to sometime this week and then you'll get a case complete ;)

Yeah, same addresses, but different Attn, so I'm assuming the packages go to different departments to get processed.

And yes, just ignore the email ;) Call up an operator next week to see how your case is doing and if there's any updates.

So now when I know my interview date, should I expect something to be mailed from the embassy? What about those packet 3 and 4? Do they apply for CR1 visas?

Another week, another wait. Our expedited docs have been at NVC now for 10 days, and they still have not acknowledged receipt. It's TSC all over again, we are at a loss as to what to do. This nightmare WILL end soon - won't it?

Hi VJ Friends,

I got an RFE on 3/23. I asked them to re-review it. Login Failed and Case complete on 3/25th. I only checked the AVR this morning.

I could not believe how sometimes we get RFE's for documents already sent. It breaks your heart and your emotions. I know my case is IR5.

I felt like staying in this forum with this group since we all went through the TSC journey.

After all we have gone through why don't I feel happy also hearing this message? This journey has caused emotional stress and now I don't even trust anybody.

Saylin, my spreadsheet guru please guide me what should I be doing now to get the interview date.

To all my VJ friends I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart

i'm not sure but I've heard that packet 3 and 4 is no longer in use in CR1-IR1.....

Packet 3 is equivalent to the instruction letter you received from NVC while Packet 4 is the appointment letter

We received email from NVC that has appointment letter with interview date and time, that must be printed out and presented on the day of the interview and also we got other information like what documents to bring, saying we should do medical examination before the interview and they provided a link where to check online other requirements. Hummm... so seems like there is nothing else to be received from he embassy, correct?
