CSC to TSC to NVC: the Saga continues

I just got an email from NVC Inquiry... It says that my husband's visa appointment is on April 11 at 7:15 am.....

I can't believe it's so soon!

WOW! Congratz! you and I had our case complete the same day! yesterday i called and said that we had an RFE cause of incomplete documents, I was confused but its all ok now it was because my lawyer sent the DS-280 by mail and she had 2 email it. Well everything is done now and i am hoping i have my interview assighned soon also n follow you close behind in JUAREZ! Congratz again!

No NVC # yet, called and spoke to supervisor who said wait till mid April. So sick of all this. Seems NVC has gotten backed up.

Saylin, I was going to wait to call NVC next Friday bc it's the first day of April. But you said don't listen and call. My interview is scheduled MAY 3!!!!!!!!!! 1 pm. Thank you so much for the advice! I don't know if this was because I requested expedite bc of USCIS and NVC error or just a fluke. THANK YOU VJ FRIENDS!!!! :dance:

OMG!!! Grats!!!!! I told all of you to not listen to those damn operators when they say to wait till the second week of April to call.

Don't forget to update your signature cause you have an interview date assigned now

I definitely will in a couple minutes. LOL I'm calling NVC back to get a different operator just to make sure. I'm in so much shock that I need double verification.

Wow I am surprised! NVC received my case after yours and I received the NVC # the same day. Like Saylin said keep calling everyday.

I will keep trying. When I tried to explain to the operator that I know people can get their case #'s within a few days, He laughed and said I was mistaken. I was about to say "let me email u a link to a forum I follow so you can see that I know what I'm talking about" but then I didn't. Nothing to do but keep waiting. I'm still going to call 3 times a day.

The only thing that I can think of is that my file went from TSC and yours from CSC. Maybe they are speeding up cases that are received from TSC.

Maybe. There are still a few pinks in Saylin's spreadsheet so I'm not alone in the sea of purple. It's just hard to think that due to all these delays we won't be together for our first anniversary.

Here is an idea. If you cannot make it for your 1 year anniversary than why not celebrating 1 year and 1 month or 1 year and 2 months? we just have to make the best of the situation that we are in unfortunately.
