wow....my wife just got a call from the embassy in Bogota and we have our interview NEXT thursday March 31st...I am really excited, but wow, they couldnt even give us at least 2 weeks headsup?! Now Im going to have to rush big time

thank you Charles People that are actually going through a visa process can say what they want, but I know this guys type. I have been on a few message boards and can smell a fake from a mile away.

NVC

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

Finallly - > CASE COMPLETE.

I asked the operator about Interview Date. He said 2nd week of the Month ? Is that true for India ? Anyone ?

Not sure about India. You should look at timelines for beneficiaries in India and see when they get interviews assigned. That's what I did, and still do, for Canada. That's how I know that people get their interviews all month long.

Congrats to all with CC's- Sarah, Foreverandever, and babaa!! :dance::dance: End of this journey is near!

Hope we all have our CC's soon. Wouldn't it be nice when the time comes that we are already posting that our families are here?

Regards on your schedule for interview, Saylin. By the way, It would be nice if you make "SAYLIN'S BREEZE TO NVC"- you have familiarized yourself very well with the immigration process!

With EP process, do you send I-864 form and DS-260 form along with all support materials? As I know, these forms will be electronically signed and submitted online. Thanks.

You email the I-864 package. You fill the DS-260 online. Then you email the supporting documents for the IV package.

Ask for a supervisor cause they should have the number for you. My NVC number was assigned the same day they received it. One week is more than enough for them to assign a number!

You will have next week. Just keep on calling them.

yep, she got her medical scheduled and all! Now...the real problem is to try to get my moms AOS papers before the interview (she lives in California!) Express express mail here we come.

Same thing with me today. Called up and operator and she said the IV bill had not yet been invoiced, she ask me to wait, cant she tell patience is not a forte when dealing with these things?
