Hey guys! Well just decided to join this conversation now since im NVC!

Saylin this is my timeline:

Approved Feb 15

Reciept number March 2nd ...i think didnt get email till the 3rd though

All fees pain on March 4th

Reciept for all fees had gone threw March 7th

All documents sumbitted on March 8th

Email that said they got them and with intructions on March 11th

Case completed at NVC and sent to Juarez on March 17th!

I am so excited! Im almost there! I cant wait to see my husband again! <3

the 'visual' is that the IV fee bill is available to be paid on the online payment portal.

Other than that, sorry, it'####### and miss - sometimes you get an email about 'acceptance' , most times not.

Nope, DS-3032 is for the DS-230, once your DS-3032 is accepted your DS-230 fee would be generated

No NVC case # yet, I call them about 3-4 times a day.

Looks like it will hopefully be next week for me for a case #.

Hope everyone continues to have progress on their cases.

Our case was approved on 3/2/2011. NVC assigned the case number today. So, just give them a few more days. Yes, you can ask the operator whether they receive your case from CIS.

Yes I called them and spoke a representative. They keep saying they got the file and it's in the building getting processed but hasn't been assigned a # yet.

Saylin, called NVC again and the operator gave me the beneficiary ID. Thanks alot. The Wiki doc of NVC for Montreal beneficiaries is awesome!!!

1. In the body of OPTIN email, is it enough to just include petitioner & beneficiary's info as described in the Wiki doc? Or should we add a few line to explain that this email is for OPTIN?

2. Although I got the NVC#, IIN number, when I try to login to payment portal, it shows "Sign in fail". Should I wait for a few days?

Thank You Xelance! I am sooo very happy! it only took 15 days from Nvc number. its the least they could do after waiting 9 freakin months apart from my husband!

1 - Nope, you don't need to explain anything. The first five letters in the subject head (OPTIN) is enough for the system to know that you want to opt in to EP. Just make sure you include name, date of birth, and email address of both the petitioner and beneficiary in the body, that's it.

2 - Yes, try waiting a few days. A lot of people have been getting problems with the payment portal site. You should be able to log in sometime next week and pay the AOS fee. Then, once the Choice of Agent form is accepted, the IV fee will appear as well.

I just got a text message from USCIS,they sent my case to NVC on 03/16/2011.hopefully we will have our case # next week.

I received a touch today that my file had been mailed to NVC on the 16th and today is the 18th. I called the automated line God knows how many times today lol. I talked to an operator twice. And they have the case but haven't assigned numbers yet. The guy said wait till next week cause they had just received the file today. I asked him so should I call Monday? He replied "That is next week" So I guess I wait till Monday and I will rock n roll!

they most likely received the case today,,, just call Monday to get all the info,,, if they don't give it to you than hang up and call again

If you can pay the IV fee... that is visual proof that the DS-3032 has been accepted.
