Lol, hehe, told you :P When did you order them? It didn't take long for my husband to get his transcripts from the IRS. I believe it was just a week and a bit.

You should probably just mail in the AOS and IV together in the same envelope at this point.

If you got any questions about what you need to send in, don't hesitate to ask ;)

Yes, it's the first one that was issued at birth. If you don't have the original (I didn't), you can send in the certified copy. If it's not in English though, you're going to need notarized translations as well.

Thanks for the tip bro, I'll do this if I don't get anything by this week :)

Is your spouse from Gujarat by the way? This police clearance certificate looks like it's going to be a headache. It also seems that the Gujarat government "requires" the wife to get a new passport reflecting she has taken her husband's last name. If this is true, what utter bull#&%! is this?

Thanks, it seems I ought to get something by mid-week.

You're reading this wiki right? http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form There's no mention of a barcode. You just email the data that's on that page, send it from the beneficiary's email account, and that's it.

No, you don't send evidence of a bona fide marriage. That's only required at the USCIS stage and possibly at the interview. None is needed at NVC.

Thank you so much!!!

Good evening, everyone.

I am a new member of this forum. I learned a lot useful tips from this thread. Thank you, Saylin and all other contributors.

After almost 7 months waiting, our case was approved on March 2,2011. I just got off the phone to know that NVC received our case from USCIS-TSC, but has not logged into their system yet. I have two questions regarding our case:

1. My wife's nationality is People's Republic of China. But she is a permanent resident of Canada for 2.5 years and stays in Canada since June 2009. Which consulate will she be interviewed? Montreal in Canada or Guangzhou in China?

2. We used a lawyer to file for I-130. If I want to do the NVC/consular process by myself using electronic processing, how do I deal with “Choice of Agent”? As far as I know, NVC will not send out DS-3032 form because our lawyer will be the default “choice of Agent”.

Thanks very much for your response.
