I have not received the hard copy of my approval. I called yesterday at NVC (IT is really easy to talk to customer service, no hold), and I asked her if we will get priority because our case took around 7 months to get approved, and she told me "no". They have not received my case yet. How long I have to wait for my hard copy and to get transferred to NVC? Thanks

Hey there. I notice you were only approved on 3rd February, and then came a weekend and some snow days. Your NOA2 should be coming today or tomorrow I would think. You're quite a way away from NVC at the moment. TSC have not shipped your case, and then you have to have a case number allocated. With luck, in around 10 to 20 days you may have your NVC case number, but there is still a lot to go through I am afraid. good.gif

On issue of your NOA2, we are not automatically at the NVC. We have to wait for TSC to ship our cases to the NVC, and then NVC has to allocate a case number. The way TSC are working, it could be 10 to 20 more days before we get case numbers. Hopefully it will be sooner, but since we've waited 7 months already, it still seems like a lot to go through. We then have to go onto NVC's electronic filing system, submit our I-864's etc. etc..

Hey guys, i have a feeling that NVC will be overloaded with the paper work that has been sent by TSC at the same time, do you think this will slow us down? :S:S:S

No EGUZI, I don't think so. I just read a posting today that shows that TSC has actually sent them 3 approvals and still no action. I am pushing for a congressional investigation. So when my promise again comes that they have shipped my petition to NVC (re-evaluated), I will not believe them. And I am, at this point, becoming discouraged with it all. I am talking to my senators office and congressperson's office and have sent them 4 letters so far.

No wonder they've delayed other people's approvals. They've been too busy approving mine!

I received a hard copy I-797, Notice of Action for a I-130 on JANUARY 4 that my petition has been approved and sent to NVC.

On January 29, I received the following message in an email from TSC:

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On January 28, 2011, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directlynuary 28, 2011, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly

Now last night I received this message in an email:

On February 7, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Soo my timeline is completely screwed. Does all this mean I will receive 2 visas and I can give one to my wife and sell the other one on Ebay?

P.S. Still waiting for the NVC case#. I call and the AVR tells me they have not yet received the case.

Here it is! What do you all make of this? What do we do now?!! I am becoming very discouraged. aviatorbill

Hey there, hope you're OK.

To the best of my knowledge, the earliest person I know about who received the email saying the case had been forwarded to the NVC was ezzieswife.

They said they got the email on February 3rd, and it hasn't yet arrived at NVC as of yesterday the 10th.blink.gif How can CSC get them up and running within 4 days?? Why the hassle from TSC?

We're still waiting for the email. Angela Barrows promised us it would go up to NVC before Friday, We're hoping for an email tonight.

Is ezzieswife and ezzie the same person? According to Saylin's list, Ezzie got NOA2 on 9th of February, 2 days ago. so it is normal she hasn't got to NVC yet.

I was asking Gnasher and U&S and Mikec717? How long did it take them to get NVC case number afer that email??

Common sense says if CSC ships approved petitions in the same day or next day after approval and people then get NVC case number in 7 days we should get ours next Tuesday. + couple days because it was mass forward... + day because of snow in Texas or whatever just because it is Texas
