But not everyone is an average middle-aged man. What do those people do against 19 year olds?

The best way to protect yourself is to avoid those situations that could put you at risk, or, at least, make sure someone else is the slow elk, and keep him/her between you and the predators.

If such an incident occurred (as told) there would be a police report (since a fictional police officer arrived at the fictional scene of the fictional crime).

Therefore, a police report would be available from the local department. There would probably be a very nominal fee involved.
