How many times will you answer...without answering? Personal insults do not make your case.

the task is simple. Vermont allows anyone to carry a concealed and loaded handgun without a license or permit of any kind. Vermont has a lower crime rate than any province of Canada. Simply show that those facts are wrong.

You are under some delusion Gary that if you answer a question that I am compelled to answer. I'm content to merely point out your numberious follies.

I'm a wimp. I do absolutely nothing for self defense. Rob me please.

The good news? In a state with concealed carry, no one KNOWS you do nothing for self defense. In a state where ANYone can carry a concealed handgun without a license, ANYone could be armed. And if you aren't armed, another guy or gal nearby might be, It skews the whole risk benefit analysis for criminals (yes they do risk/benefit analysis, if they didn't banks would never get robbed)

That is why Vermont is so safe.

How is saying good morning or hello to someone a bad situation?

The husband left the old country and sounds like he's scared of his new one as well. You too.

I speak to anyone I want, look then in the eye and say "hello".

Please stop the back and forth bickering, insults and name calling; they really add nothing to the discussion and make those of you posting them sound like a bunch of kids posturing on the school ground rather than grown up adults.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

firing them through people's bodies was the main risk factor anyway

What cartridge was designed to kill good people?

7.62x39. That's the one all those commies use.

Who? Nice imaginary stereotype. If I made the same conclusions about women, blacks, gays...whatever, you would have a clinical perjorative for me. It is OK for you to say this about gun owners though.

Pejorative. It's pejorative.

I think you stereotype Russian women when you talk about them.

I guess everybody's got to have a little something or someone they like to put in a box.

Not really. It is verdis gris, latin for "green growth", and is oxidation of the copper in the metal clad bullets.

Actually, the word is "verdigris," from the Old French "verte grez," or "verte de Grèce," meaning "green of Greece." Latin has nothing to do with it.
