How can I find out if they will let us to Jordan or not?

I contacted the Amman embassy already but I haven't got too much of a straight answer from them yet.

yea i contacted them 3 times already because i was concerned about the same issue before you mentioned it but so far no luck.

I think a lot depends on where the NVC sends your case, and you really have no control over that. There is a spot on the I-129F to tell them which embassy to send the case to, but also a disclaimer saying that may not happen, depending on the embassy, and your fiancée's last residence of record.

Finally I got a "yes she can" from the Amman embassy. Now whether or not they stick to that yes I guess we'll see.

I wanted to be at my husband's side when he had his K1 interview. In Brazil the USC is allowed in. I'd say the date of his interview most of the women were alone, but there were a few other couples in "attendance" the day of the interview. The CO may have actually spoken to me more than he did my BR husband. He spoke to us in Portuguese since my husband didn't know English at the time. I think it was good to see how we communicated/interacted with each other. The interview was about 6 minutes.

Actually, it was so important to me to be with him at the interview that I didn't travel there for Christmas; I just waited a couple more months and we had a pre-marriage honeymoon in Rio at the time of the interview. We took advantage of this and spent 10 days there together.

Another reason I wanted to be there, besides support, was so that I could travel back to the U.S. with him after the interview. He had already said his goodbyes in his city when he went to Rio. Once he got his visa (a couple days after), we came to the U.S.
