When do I get package 3? Frankfurt Embassy

Hi everybody. The NVC told us our approved application left the NVC on January 13, 2011. When I called the embassy last thursday (January 20th) they told me they had my information electronically, but had not received the paper documents from the NVC, yet. The lady at the embassy told me that they would send out Package 3 whenever they receive my paper docs. Today is the January 26th and I still haven't heard from the embassy. How long is the typical waiting time at the embassy till you receive pack 3 and 4? Can I do my medical already? I do have my case number.

Relax can take a couple of weeks for embassy to get the doc from NVC but not usually more than 2 so they should have them by end of week.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month

In our case, it only took 7 days for the case to transfer from NVC to FRN - supposedly, they sent out P3 only one day later but that never arrived. We received the actual packet 3.5 weeks later! (In the meantime I was told to fill everything out online and send it in).

Don't worry, you'll be surprised how fast things move from here on! :)

ps. I got my medical appointment as soon as I had my case number - with FRN it's a pretty safe bet
