I am preparing my affidavit of support for my non-USC fiance's forthcoming interview at the US Embassy at Bogotá. My fiancé has a USC son living with her in Colombia. Althought I understand that my petition only applies to her, the kid will accompany her to US if the K1 visa is granted, then my question is: do I have to include the kid in the affidavit of support I am preparing? Would the Inmigrant Visa Section include him as a dependant in the calculation of my household?

There are lines on the affidavit of support for the children or K2/K4 visas.

Yes they will be included as dependents in the calculation.

For clearer idea of the dependents section in the instructions that are included with newer I-864 form from the USCIS website, this form will be used at the time of AOS, and some consulates also accept the I-864, but not all.

yes you need to include him in the household if he will live with you and your fiancee.

May 4 2006 - received at Consulate

July 17 2006 - Interview in Germany

Aug 02 2006 - Flying back to Tulsa with my CR1 in passport

Removal of Conditions - I-751

May 2 2008 - Mailed I-751 to TSC

May 21 2008 - Received NOA 1 (extension letter) from VSC

May 27 2008 - Biometrics Appointment in OKC

July 22 2008 - touched

August 6 2008 - touched

February 22, 2009 - touched

March 24, 2009 - card production ordered

April 4, 2009 - Green Card in mail

Aug 31 - Oct 20 2005at NBC

Oct 26 - Nov 3 2005 at NVC

Jan 10 2006- Visa interview

Feb 09 2006- Flying to Tulsa
