Ugh..where's the dayum sun? It's been so blah here for the past few days that it's affecting my mood now. Just working and missing my husband...the usual.

We've got sun here.... even a "cool" front I think that means it's like 80 instead of 97. Back to work today. Hamdoulillah I didn't have to work (w/ people) Sunday or Monday cuz I was cramping like a beeotch! So much pain, I couldn't handle reality, much less having to converse w/ real people. The bright side of it is (da, da, da, daaaaaaa - drumroll) I did my freakin' sales taxes finally that had been negligent for a a little while and it's over, I'm caught up and that dark cloud is no longer hanging over my head! Whew!!! It only took abt 3 hours which, if done in a timely manner, takes only abt 15 min every quarter! Ok, it's gonna be a good day! Inch'allah.

Well it's official! I think I am really bored and stupid! I keep trying to make the font and color different for my signature, but it's not working! How do I do it?! I want to put a timeline on there, but I can't figure it out! Help!

when you edit your signature you must highlight it and chose the font. Then to change the color..highlight it again and choose a color. Easy peasy!

Well it's official! Today is now a crappy day. My husband got mad at me again because i forgot my oatmeal at home for lunch. Which then led to him yelling at me because he is over worked very underpaid for all the work and misses Morocco. He feels like he's in jail because he can't leave the country and come back without proper permission. I always fear that he may leave me to go back to Morocco. If he did that, I would be so upset. I told him that as soon as all this AOS stuff is done we'll get two round trip tickets to Morocco and go for 2 or 3 weeks. But he still freaks out. Now he's ignoring my call, which just makes me want to cry. I didn't mean to get him so worked up. Why do guys have to be such jerks sometimes?! Now I am worried that he got in a car accident or something because he got so worked up! Why me?! I love that jerk no matter what though! Oh well! I'll just have to get him in a better mood. Maybe we'll have one of our cuddle nights.

Oh doesn't that make you crazy when they pull the ignoring #######? My husband used to do that until he saw how upsetting it was for me. My mother used to do that to me when I was young and it hurt me terribly. After I explained that to Mohamed he stopped doing it and now tells me why he's angry instead of ignoring then telling.

Thanks Kara! I find it suits me pretty well. I do forget a lot of things. I am always in a hurry to run out of the house.

Maybe Mohamed should talk to Adil about that. It seems that even if I do tell him something like that, it doesn't work. ME NA men are bad at the whole hiding their feelings and not telling thing. Then when you try to get them to share, they blow up in your face. It's like it's a crime to tell anyone how they are feeling. I don't think they realize they don't hide emotion well and when they are upset, we, being the caring wives that we are, are going to ask them! Well I called him one more time and he answered. He's on his way home to take an afternoon nap. Maybe he'll still be there when I get home from work. Anyway. Hopefully everything will be ok tonight when we both get home. I think I am going to go down town for a little while. I don't feel like staying inside with the mood that I am in.

The air here in Kentucky is so thick and so heavy right now its almost hard to breathe out there. Its cloudy and gloomy too. Probably not helping my mood a whole lot either.

On the subject of ME/NA men and their emotions. Oy. LOL. One thing that I will give Mohammed credit for, he is a communicator... or at least he makes the effort. If I say something that makes him angry, he says so and he tries to control himself so that we can acknowledge it and just put it behind us. If he's not in such a good mood, sometimes he tries to hide it so I won't pester him about what's bothering him. Well, like you said, that doesn't work. He usually bottles it up because he doesn't want to relive whatever is bothering him, but almost without exception, if I can get him to talk about what's bugging him, he ends up laughing and joking and being his old self again... and eventually thanking me. You just have to find the way that works. If I just start pestering him with "what's wrong?" over and over he gets frustrated and eventually angry. I also find that even after the most gruesome arguments (blah) he never holds a grudge and is willing to forgive and forget much more quickly then I usually do. (blah again)

I am tired tonight. I do think I will treat myself to a cheeseburger for dinner. I haven't had one for awhile and it just sounds awefully good right about now. God bless junk food...
