Im a Us citizen. I got meried with a mexican citizen and I filed the I-130 on april 23 2010. On september 28 2010 I received I-797 Notice of Action. ON Octuber 21 I received a letter that said that before your petition can be processed I must pay the affidavit of Support (AOS) processing fee (88.00USD)So I pay the 88.ooUSD online.I had someone that it was going to help me file my case, but she told me since I had done it that way she could'nt help me no more. I remeber I pay the money on nov 4th but I don't have an email with a comfirmation number or nothing like that. And I try checking my status with the case number from the last letter I received and nothing turns out.can somebody tell me what can I do.

HEY !

congrats on using the online payment portal - that's a big deal, always.

AFTER yer payment is accepted for the AOS/I-864 - you must review the portal again about 4 to 5 days after you've paid -

you'll notice that there is a receipt to be printed. INSIDE OF THAT RECEIPT are instructions on what to do, with an barcoded sheet to include for sending off the I-864.

The IV fee is pegged to the DS-230 form, and won't show up to be paid until the DS-3032 (from yer spouse) has been accepted.

HOWEVER.

MEXICO HAS A NEW ELECTRONIC PROCESSING SYSTEM in place for NVC. I strongly suggest you call NVC back, since you've NOT SENT IN ANY FORMS YET, and beg to be included on the MEP, Mexico Electronic Processing, System AT NVC.

Once they allow you 'in' - you'll need to OPT IN - and you'll need a special DS-3032 signed by yer spouse, to be emailed in.

I've a wiki entry here for 'NVC Electronic Processing' - if you search the wiki with those exact terms, you'll find the how-to.

Good Luck !

ya, you have the login # - it's called an IIN - it was IN the AOS Fee bill that you received via email - recheck it - it also contains the NVC # - with these 2 things, you can login and eradicate 'nothing'

uhm - you might be feeling a bit hopeless, but don't fret, aye?

Forms you need:

DS-230 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

I-864 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3730.html

General NVC stuff - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html

NVC Electronic Processing wiki entry page - http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Electronic_Processing - the DS-3032 form yer spouse needs is in there, as a d/l link. get it, send it out to her, she needs to fill it out, print it, sign in, rescan it in.

My handy-dandy 'online payment portal how-to-guide' - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

MEP info: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/267714-nvc-electronic-processing-for-cuidad-juarez/

You don't have to USE MEP, if you don't want to - it saves a lot of time with waiting, for scheduling, after NVC is finished .

You've a lot of reading to do - I suggest you read all I've posted here - let it sink in for a few days, and then call NVC, beg for MEP inclusion.

I have a MEP case number and also I have a number on my bank statement. but I don't know where to login or nothing,I try using the MEP number on the USCIS webpage but nothing showed up.

call in to NVC tomorrow, ask for the IIN , tell them you lost the AOS FEE BILL email - they MIGHT give you the IIN over the phone.

MEP #, or in this case the NVC Casefile #, means NOTHING to the USCIS web portal, sorry...

USCIS web portal and NVC online payment portal are different beasties - NVC data ain't on the USCIS portal.

good luck with the reading ! make copious notes !!!
