So to get it right guys --The best idea is to wait until I get the NOA2 , and when the file reaches the embassy in manila --I can call and have them change my fiancee address BEFORE they send out the package of papers to her at her new address? I appreciate any relpies especially if any VJ members went through this before .

You know, funny thing is that yesterday, we recieved Ann's approval Embassy letter (from the Embassy in Phils) at MY address in US. She did not received it in Phils (even though she is technically here in US). It is ok, as you do not need it, or anything, as they have her in the system, and can get her medical and interview stuff started. Just thought it was funny they mailed it here to US, not Phils.

Ana & Wes - Congrats to u but my fiancee is in the Philippines . I am just worried that they will send the package at her old address . I think once the NOA2 is approved , and before the file reaches Manila --I will call and get her address corrected so they can mail any packages to her . Is that the right way???

Wrong, Don't do that

Actually this isn't 'Wrong' as you so delightfully put it. It worked perfectly for us - the address was changed swiftly and without any problems. Now maybe your way is better, I don't know, but the method we suggested works too.

What I actually did was send a letter of a change of address to the Uscis . After 1 week , I asked to speak to a second Tier supervisor and she actually changed my fiancee address on the spot . She was very helpful and it was done with no glitches .
