Toronto Medical Today.

Easy peasy. That's what I have to say.

Got there at 6:45 a.m. and the waiting room was filled already. After 1/2 hr wait I was then called to an office where I gave them my passport pics, ID, and $325.00. I then went for the chest x-ray there that took less than 2 minutes. People were very nice here. After the x-ray they then draw blood. I waited maybe another 20 minutes where then I was led into a Dr's office where a nice nurse took my blood pressure, pulse, height, weight.

Then after about another long wait the Dr. came in and he asked me medical history questions, medicine I was taking any other illnesses or past stays in the hospital. Then I handed him my immunizations and BTW, you now need a FLU SHOT!!! I wasn't aware of this. So, tonight I had to stop by and have one done and I'll fax proof of this back to them tomorrow. It was a 4hr drive back home after this.

A lady Dr. came in and listened to my lungs and heart. Checked my reflexes and did a breast exam and abdomen exam. Then she said she had to check my lady bits..sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh She apologized for having to do this, but..oh well whatever!

All in all it was so easy, just took about 2.5hrs before I was all done, but that's ok.

Also, I would recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Express if you have to get a hotel room, it's about a 2 block walk..really easy to get too from the hotel.

Next stop..Montreal in February..woot!

Great review, it will be helpful for those to follow to know that the flu shot is now required for everyone (over 6 months old that is )

Its only required if you are during the winter months having your medical. Its fairly well known because you will be told to get it for AOS if you AOS in the winter as well.

In 2009 when I had my medical for CR1/IR1, it was only required during the winter months for those over 50 years of age. Now it is for everyone 6 months and older,so that may not be well known.

My experience was pretty much the same! I wasn't told to get a flu shot however (had my exam January 4th). They also had to jab me about 5 times to get blood, but I think that's more my tricky veins

Oh, I also wanted to know how long it takes if you get it Couriered to your house for the 50 dollars. Will it arrive in two days just like the two day pickup?

Traveling to and from Toronto will cost me the same or MORE for courier, so courier would be a lot easier for me. anyone have it delivered?

I had mine couriered back in 2009. Did my medical on a Tuesday and results at my door by the Thursday (I was in Niagara.)

Hmm.. will be interested in seeing if anyone does their medical and interview all in the same week. Having the husband fly to MTL twice from Edmonton is kinda expensive, and I'd rather him use the money for moving.
