I pulled up the government job posting for service center directors at all the service centers???????

What on earth can this be?????Does this mean that they fired all the directors or are these directors still there as lame ducks not doing anything because they know that they are being replaced??????

And the saga continues..........maybe there was a sex scandle of some sort among all the directors......like they were all caught in a hotel room during a immigration convention explaining the IMBRA changes......they were caught partying with service center clerks or interns or something like "tailhook"........

Any thoughts on this latest news from washington???????

I can tell you that in my opinion 3 out of 4 of them have failed miserably. So why not replace them? That's how it works in the real world.

This is welcome news if there will be REAL Improvement, It seems they have added Non intellegent Customerr reps that cant tell anything but the Approved or not approved on our petitions, One hguy the other day asked me, "What is IMBRA ?" so needless to say I was tunned and angry at this incompetance we continue the Mushroom treatment, Keep us in the dark and feed us a lot of S___! OH I can't say that, well we all get the point, Right ? MY latest communication after forwarding an email from the consulate to NVC Noting the registered Pouch and number as sent to them, Their response was "Please contact the Consulate to verify the status of this petition" Hmmm another email that was never read. Now I am going to write a Normal letter and with copies of the email send it this way, Maybe then someone, perhaps a NEW DIRECTOR wil read it YAH !

I Hope they attempt to give some basic trainig to the new telephone reps they got because it is like talking to the order speaker at Burger king ! Sorry Burger king does still give some answers LOL

Anybody up to staged protests at some of these Sevice centers ? or something of the sort ? Lets post ideasa to get the attention of our Senators and Congressmen and most importantly, The dreaded Press ! Some all Politicians hate !

Well, Maybe this is just a Mystery Novel right we are not going nuts waiting for our Loved ones, No we are simply looking at the lack of ability to have our questions answered, getting some action and doing it correctly and in a reasonable amount of time.

So where are we ? seeing another Washington witch Hunt ? without action until after the new hires are oh my God Trained ? Read Overdue instructions ? or until we simply fade away ?

Write to Your Congressmen, Senators seem to not respond very well. Give them details, Copies of emails sent and received, Give them Your personal Timelines, and ask them to seek why nothing is happening. Maybe together we can get some responses, We all know at this point that the phone lines are useless. Lack of Knowledge, Lack of training, Trying to get someone to answer the phone without falling asleep or hanging up because they got tired of speaking to people. Or whatever. There are what 10,000 petitions that were held up. I think we can carry a big Voice, perhaps the media as well what do Ya'all think ?

Well spoke my piece for today. still no news since 5/1/06 on USCIS and alledgedly the Petition sent back to NVC/USCIS on three different dates provided by the consulate for 2, and DOS/washington DC for 1 No wonder they can't get it right.

Think I'm returning to visit my Lady for a while until they get it right. We need a get away from this madness.

Does anyone in the government care about USCIS? From what I see they ignore the USCIS ombudsmen reports, pay lip service to immigrants ("legal immigrants should be greeted with open arms, not long lines") without backing it up with action, and they insist USCIS remains a self funded agency while dumping more legislation on it (e.g. IMBRA) for which they are ill prepared.

Meanwhile the only public debate on immigration is that of illegal aliens. People like you and me are not an issue to the press or the government.

I'm just glad I'm going through AOS now, rather than after whatever bill to deal with illegal immigrants gets ratified, I'm guessing USCIS will descend into complete chaos when that happens.
