hello vjers! we had our interview today @ 11:05am and were called @ around 11:45 am. the officer asked some few questions about my petitioner and some no questions. then asked for copies of bills (give him cellphone and credit card bills), insurance, & joint bank account. he then went out to make copies of our IDs and my passport. when he came back, he stamped my I-485 application "APPROVED" and congratulates us. but the thing is he did not stamp my passport instead he gave me a letter stating "Congratulations! Your application to adjust status has been approved" and "Notice to Conditional Permament Resident Alien". he also told us that my green card will be mailed within 90 days but he said the usual GC arrival is within 2 weeks. Is it ok if my passport have no stamp on it? Thanks to all VJers

Don't worry about that, just wait for the GC.

That happened also after my interview, but before we left the room I asked him if I could work or apply for a job the next day. The officer told me that he could stamp my passport with the authorization, so he did. He said 4 weeks to receive the GCs (for me and my son). It didnt take that long coz I received our GCs today, after 10 days. So i wasnt able to use the passport with stamp. Our interview was in Detroit.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

...as in, please fill in your timeline on the site, to update the overall statistics so that others have an idea on the average wait times for these sorts of things.

On the blue bar above the forum, just above the line that says "logged in as (your user name)" and "my controls," etc, click on the link that says Immigration Timelines. Click on edit time line and fill out the little forms for AOS, which will update the overall statistics for site users.

Hope those directions were a bit clearer. :)

Just to note that this site's timeline feature only works for a narrow range of people, i.e. those who who filed K-1, K-3 or CR-1/IR-1. I can't fill out my timeline because I'm adjusting from H-1B visa, and you can't just leave the Visa section blank.

There really should be an "other" option on that timeline.
