If you do not wish to read another negative post or insist on telling people who have no patience left to be patient....please stop now and go away.!!

I can not believe VSC...when I sent my 129-F to them in August they were working on July filers....they are STILL working on July filers....Last week these morons managed to approve only one VJ application...ONE???...CSC approved 9 in one day.!!! The simple truth is I dont care what lame excuses they give anymore..I also think it is useless to call them and be read a script. We need to become the squeaky wheel and ride our congressmen each day until they are as sick of us calling them as we are. My 5 months is up...and I intend to start calling each day!!...To have patience for me requires progress to be made and there is not being made...They are 170 days PLUS now and getting longer each day...??

Folks we must call ...it is our only chance...I will send email to but these are so easily ignored. They congressional offices must answer their phones...

ANYONE else feel the same??

I will begin emailing VSC almost everyday starting this week. They need to know they have something very wrong in their process and in their system. If I do not see any movement in my application in the next 3 weeks, I will contact my congressman afterward. It is not our fault they are unable to deliver in a reasonable amount of time when CSC used to be the slowest of all the service centers only 5 months ago.

I'm only in about 2 months, so yes I can see myself getting very irate past the 5 month mark; I was sort of in the camp of patience at first; but now I see you really don't have a right to say that if you aren't even at the 5 month mark lol; I'm sure you guys were a lot happier at the 2 month mark too! Anyways, I'm sorry if I missed it elsewhere, but do you know how to find those stats on how many I-129Fs are approved each week at the various centers..I've only seen like those monthly charts. thanks!

Unfortunately Congressmen/woman and/or Senators have very little influence over operations at USCIS. Here is information regarding the power of the "purse strings".

(This is from testimony before Congress in March 2010.)

The proposed budget request for USCIS for fiscal Year 2011:

"$2.8 billion in funding, of which $2.4 billion is financed through fee revenue and

$386 million is funded with appropriations. The appropriations request is $162 million

above the FY 2010 enacted level. This increase largely accounts for our request for fully

funding the asylum and refugee programs through appropriations."

I didn't wait nearly as long as some of you are waiting and I would be as mad as you all are if I had to wait this long!

I hope all of you are united with your loved ones quickly and the rest of your lives get started as soon as possible!!

Feg, how long did you wait after your 5-month deadline before you sent your first email? USCIS told me to contact them 26 days after my 5-month deadline since they are now processing applications from 26 days ago.

Thank you

This is what I have been trying to tell everyone. If you make noise, you get action and someone who is quiet is made to wait as a result.

Want to get married? What works? Making noise or being quiet? So which one do you choose?
