Did the fact pass you by in life that ... for most people, Homosexuality is "not" natural nor acceptable?

Even in the countries which are more accepting of various sexual practices.... still a sizable number of people do not see men playing man and wife it as normal.

Naturally I do not deny the existence of homophobia. A prevalence of it in society surely supports awareness-raising schemes such as this.

An even larger percent of people feel the school has no business wading into areas such as this, especially with children as young as they are trying to reach.

In the same way as one might in the US. We have PTA meetings, a free press, members of parliament to whom we can write... a little research would tell you this.

Arguments against the initiative have been made in the British press already, some by gay people. These have hinged on the relevance of the scheme's content and the tactfulness of its implementation.

Are you referring to the Black teacher who questioned if they should be teaching things which are contrary to the parents wishes and morals?

Homosexuals are clearly just one of the many sexual minorities.

Look at it this way: You walk in a room and in this room are a wide variety of sexual interests.

Some are run of the mill, heteros who simply find a mate.

Others are homosexuals attracted to the same sex. others are Bisexual, they can go either way.

Others are into group events.

Others only find satisfaction is relations with animals.

Others like the confines of a committed relationship but they require multiple wives to be fulfilled.

And there are others for whose true passion is for young children,

in fact there are many more categories of people in the room, some are content to simply be alone. (yikes)

Now for some reason you want to put the gay couple on some higher plain, you choose to wrap the flag of civil rights around them.

Why aren't we teaching children all sexual lifestyles (which are Legal) are worthy of dignity?

Think about all the girls who are called "ho" or ####### just because they are sleeping with the football team?

Why is there no one going to schools to help remove that stigmatism rather than allow the ridicule and bullying to go on?
