Hi there,

I got a purple letter from Nebraska. It said:

"Your petition to remove conditions on residence has not been reviewed by an immigration officer to determine legal sufficiency or eligibility. in order to ensure the case file is complete when an officer reviews it, please submit the following, if you have not already done so".

1.documents

2. 2 photos

3. Photocopy of my greencard

(the letter is the same with yellow letter, but no need to sent my original GC.)

I already sent above items when I filed I751 2 months ago. (I already got my I797C 2 months ago )

What should I do next? Should I sent all these three again?

Is there anybody having the same purple letter?

Thank you!!!!

Hi Freeload and Sweetgirl!

We also received the same purple letter from Nebraska about a month ago. We then quickly mailed our letter to Nebraska which included a copy of this purple letter, a copy of NOA, and a short cover letter with explanation than we already sent all the documentation along with I-751.

The purple letter asks for mailing all this stuff IF it was not mailed yet. It looks like just a reminder not to forget mailing the condition removal package on time.

Could you, please post your updates here? I will post mine too - it looks like Freeload, Sweetgirl's friend and I are in the same boat. Thanks!

Hi Lambada,

My friend filed I751 in earily April in California. She had an interview in June and got her GC in July.

Another friend filed I751 in the eariy July(also in California). She got NOA and a letter that wanted her to make an interview at the same time after one month. Her case is so fast!!!!

That's why I guess it's the time I should have an interview.

well i would re-send everything all over again to be sure so there isnt any delayed waits, that will mean that if you send it again, they'll HAVE to pull up your file to put it in there.

So who knows, when they do that, and see teh evidence, they might just give it a quick approval.

Thank you, Freeload. I do not have ay news yet. Is there any reason for you to believe that this purple letter indicates probable interview?

I asked NSC before I sent my stuff on 08/29/06.

The officer said " maybe some parts were missing, so you got that purple letter"

That' why I sent them again right away.

I wouldn't worry my GC until my friends got some good news in 2 months.
