Sorry to start a new topic....

Will they accept an emailed/pdf file copy of the medical exam and proof of vaccines? The doctor was in Cyprus so I am not sure if she will be willing to mail it to our p.o. box.....

It's just a copy of what they should already have so it should be fine. You'll need to double check his vaccines to make sure that he's up to date. If he's not then he'll need to see a CS just for vaccination transcription (should be around $50).

Where does the packet go that was given at the POE? That had the certified sealed medical forms needed for the 129F. Are we supposed to get the doctor to send another copy? Can we start the AOS process and just have the doctor send another copy to the Lockbox?

Why dont they just give us TWO copies of the sealed envelope at the doctor's office?!

Met in 2006... dated since 2008, engaged March 2010= Married January 21, 2011

K1 Visa

I-129F Sent : 6/28/10

I-129F NOA1 : 7/7/10

I-129F NOA2 : 10/29/10

NVC Received : 11/4/10

Packet 3 Sent : 11/29/10

Visa Received : 1/4/11 !!!!!

US Entry : 1/17/11

Marriage : 1/21/11

AOS package sent: 1/24/11

EAD and advanced parole 3/22/11

Interview date 5/16/11

APPROVED!!!!

If your K1 medical is close enough to your AOS filing then that medical can be used to satisfy the AOS one. IF not you need a whole new medical. I think close enough is within one year. A civil surgeon will be used to transcribe any medical results to send in with your AOS in a sealed envelope. They aren't supposed accept things you submit on your own. Some CS's will only charge a small fee for the transcription and some claim to need a full medical. IF you are missing anything because it wasn't available in country ( Josephs case) you must get it done here.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

ok..perhaps this is a silly question..but...one thing ihave learned through this process....!

We are filing for aos from k1, all forms filled out and at the medical part now i believe it is the 1-693...my medical was only in nov in canada...do i need this form? or do i only need to have a civil surgeon fill out the information stating what shots i had as part of that medical in montreal? I have the reciepts from the medical for the shots i paid for.
