Norway Boy Fends off Wolves With Creed Song

A Norwegian boy fends off wolves with the Creed song. Walter Eikrem, 13, from Rakkestad, Norway was successful in escaping the pack of wolves by singing the song.

As he walked home from school, Eikrem came across the wolf pack, and he was shocked with fear. However, due to some quick thinking, and his cell phone playing a Creed song, he was able to “Overcome” the pack with his smart actions.

While he was walking home, Eikrem had been listening to Creed’s “Overcome,” so when he was confronted by the scary animals, he turned up the volume to try to scare them away. Amazingly, it worked, and the wolves left the scene. He said, "They didn't really get scared. They just turned around and simply trotted away." Perhaps that pack simply wasn't big on Creed. Who knows?

It’s great that Eikrem knew to stand his ground against the wolves rather than run. How amazing is it that the 13-year-old had the presence of mind to play the music and wave his hands in order to fend off the animals?
