Hey can we leave the USA with just the advance parole document, EAD card, AOS approval letter, and Thai passport (without the I-94)? I am also taking the marriage certificate, birth certificate. Anybody ever try it? Thanks

Sorry to hear this but it looks like you are prepared to travel.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

I don't think travelling on AP is valid after your AOS approval. If you need to travel right away, contact your district office about getting your passport stamped.

Yeah.. the AP is void after you bacome a permanent resident. Make an Infopass appointment, take the Welcome to America letter to your DO, and get an I-551 stamp in your passport.

I hope the OP comes back to see the new responses before travelling as he hasn't been back since getting incorrect assurance.

Oops, I didn't notice they had AOS approved.

I wouldn't go to the embassy but to the USCIS office in Bangkok...

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

Sindhorn Building

Tower 2, 15th Floor

130-132 Wireless Road

Bangkok 10330, THAILAND

This would be the best place where you could get help...

If all else fails, your passport plus the Welcome to America Letter should be able to get them started...
