Warning - Interview Scheduling Manila

I just want to post this as a warning to other VJ members who are trying to schedule an appointment online for an interview in Manila. I was applying today, and when I got to the very end (the part where you select the interview date), I was double checking to make sure I didn't pick a date too early (before my documents arrive that she needs for her interview), and I know I had not left it idle more than 30 seconds when the session expired!!! Unfortunately, there is no way to log back in and pick up where I left off, and when I try to start over, it says "Fee payment receipt date already used." I've tried everything (cancel appointment, reschedule appointment, starting from scratch), and nothing works. I was able to download my appointment letter, and it says my interview is scheduled, but there is no interview date. Unless someone else has a solution, the only thing I know to do is to call the call center to get them to fix it, but I think they're only open Mon-Fri (Manila time). Does anyone know if they will be open on Saturday? I really want to get this off my chest and not have to wait until Monday...

Anyway, I hope this saves someone else the stress I've been through this morning, and I welcome any advice.

when i sent the interview packet to my husband i used USPS. it cost $30 3-5 days delivery. unfortunately i took 7 days to reach my husband so he missed the interview on jan 11 at 7. we had to wait 9 days to reschedule another interview, and thats after calling the appointment center twice a day, for 8 days! they kept saying our case is still tagged so the embassy needed to untag it first. i finally called the embassy and after a couple days we were able to reschedule. i was asking about downloading a new appointment letter and the lady at the embassy said there's no way i could unless it gets picked at st. lukes. i asked if it try online or call the appointment center if they would be able to help me and she said no. she said the embassy scheduled it and not the appointment center so our records would not appear in their system. anyway, we have a new schedule on jan27. the appointment service center didn't help much nor did the online appointment system. good luck to everyone!

scheduling the interview at the usem manila really SUCKS! i called several times three days in a row, was able to talk to untrained call center agents who keep on giving me different information, one has told me it takes 24 hrs from payment before i can schedule, the other says 48 hrs, now the last one i talked too is really hopeless, she said it's going to take 5 to 10 days! what the F***! I had to pay $350 just to be delayed for 13 days to schedule the interview...oh good heavens!

The saddest part is the visa interview is never refundable. so i'll just make the usem $350 richer if i don't push through with this impossible visa process.

im sorry about my bad info...this is what i did...i try to reschedule my appointment even though i dont event have a date on it and it will give you an error message try to follow that steps...hope it will help

edit: you going to waste your time if you try to call them it seems like they dont what they doing there..last time i called them and make an appointment i have like 3 different answer..so it better to do it yourself than wasting your time with them..

Thankfully, it was resolved today. I tried those instructions but couldn't find the link they were referring to. That's okay, though, because I called the call center today, and they scheduled the interview for February 4. Thank you, Lord!
