That is GREAT news Monica!!!! Congratulations!

You must be so happy!! It's a wonderful feeling, isn't it?!

I'm sure you're really busy and swamped with preparing etc but if you have time can you look at the other thread on the Casa denial yesterday? Some really bad tactics are being thrown out as ways to deal with the Casa consulate and denials. Maybe if the recent denial hears from you, she will not be tempted to repeat destructive methods of arguing her case.

Very happy for your approval :star:

your hard work paid off!! :star:

LOL! We felt the same way last summer. They kept telling him to come back...three times. I had stayed at the family home while he went to pick up the visa so when he brought it home finally I stared and stared at it. It was a GREAT day! I can't wait to see pictures of your reunion! Get going on that paperwork, girl!!!

I agree with you on the issue of there being some positive in the first denial.

For me, it gave me the opportunity to go to Morocco many more times than I would have gone if we were approved the first time. It gave me the opportunity to get to know my mother and father in law more than I would have been able to if approved first time.

I was able to see of Morocco and experience different places and things there, etc.

And, of course it gave us more time together prior to him coming here.

So, I agree it wasn't all negative.

Now, realistically, I don't know that I always saw the positive while we were going thru the denials, but it's always good to try to see and feel the positive aspects.

In response to a question that was posted on my profile in reference to CO's reading a board like VJ -- here is my answer

there have reportedly been situations where CO's have seemed to have read VJ. There have been people who were on here a while ago who have much more knowledge about that than I do.

do i think they really read boards like VJ? Maybe, probably, who knows? Those in Morocco likely read publications like wafin b/c it's specific to Morocco and didn't wafin sponsor the CO who's on youtube? Wasn't that at a wafin sponsored event? (I could be wrong about that).

Do I think it means their losers and have no lives? No idea; that's a negative way of looking at it. A very positive way of looking at it is they are trying to be very dedicated to their jobs, no? I guess there's positive and negative in every consulate.

I answered the question here b/c I don't often check my profile. So, it's more likely I'd see any responses or more questions in a thread.
