NVC completed and schedule of interview in HCM

Hello everyone - I am trying to get an id time frame of how long does it take for NVC to shcedule an intervew in HCM from the time it completed in NVC?

Does anyone out in VJ has a upcoming interview? When was your case completed in NVC?

For the K-1 Visa. HCMC sets the interview date. They send out Package 3. once package 3 has been sent back to the consulate they schedule the appointment and send out package 4 . . .Package 4 has the interview date in it

Once NVC gets the K-1 case they send it to the consulate. NVC does not process the K-1. This is true for HCMC, other consulates I'm not sure about.

As for a time frame on the interview. it will depend on how soon Package 3 is sent back to the consulate.

My case was completed on January 11 and have not get anything from the NVC yet. Did you receive an e-mail from the NVC yet?

I am sorry. I am looking for a K3 visa where the interview is schedule by NVC

NVC schedules K3 interviews? :unsure:

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

My case was completed on January 11 and have not get anything from the NVC yet. Did you receive an e-mail from the NVC yet?

I called NVC and hear the case status. i also spoke to some one and they said it is completed. When asking for a time frame, they refuse to say anything but I was able to get this from her. 'We schedule for the interview on the second week of each month and it pending on the work load in HCM'. If we are lucky, we will be interview in March, otherwise we are looking at April or May.

i am also on the same boat as you tuan. my case has been completed and awaiting for an interview date. i called yesterday and they said feb is all full and bascially all the stuff they told you. i am also hoping for a march interview date.

This is why you All should call NVC EVERY SINGLE DAY for an interview dates. Since, your NVC only completed on Jan, it's better to call After February.

02-23-2009 : AOS Paid $70 (Online)

02-23-2009 : DS-3032 sent (by email)

02-25-2009 : Payment Received from my bank (AOS)

03-04-2009 : NVC has received the Choice of Agent DS-3032 (Online)

03-04-2009 : IV Application Processing Fees $400 (Online)

03-05-2009 : Payment Received from my bank (IV APS)

03-07-2009 : DS-230, and I-864 Sent (by USPS)

03-12-2009 : USPS confirm arrived at NVC for DS-230, & I-864

03-13-2009 : NVC received DS-230, & I-864 (Case in progress)

03-20-2009 : NVC case completed in 1 week NVC completed 03-20-2009.

04-02-2009 : NVC Left to HCM city

04-22-2009 : Medical Passed

05-12-2009 : Received a package IV from HCM Consulate by email

05-18-2009 : My wife got Pink.. yeah..

05-26-2009 : Visa received

06-18-2009 : US Entry!!! Yeah, my wife finally here.

06-29-2009 : Received SSN from snail mail

07-20-2009 : Green card received by mail

09-15-2009 : Writting test from DVM.

11-03-2009 : Driving Test.

01-20-2010 : Working.

04-20-2011 : Submit I751

04-26-2011 : Received I-797 NOA with Receipt Number

05-11-2011 : Received ASC Appointment Notice

06-03-2011 : Biometrics Apts @ 11:00 AM

10-11-2011 : Submit more evidence.

That is right. But I don't know about every single day. Wouldn't they be annoyed by that? :)

May I ask: is there anyway that an outsider could learn about an interview date? I ask because my ex somehow found this out despite the fact that I told no one. Not sure how that happened and wanted to know if the interview schedules are published somewhere on VJ (or elsewhere). Tks.

its not public info... to get the info from DoS one needs to provide identifying info to get the status...

Does she know about VJ and does she know your screen name? if so then she can look at the interview schedule I have posted in the pinned topic...

Don't feel bad. We have a babe on the way so I requested NVC to experdited. They approved and send to HCM right away. Within 2 weeks we got an interview date from HCM but they only notify her 1 week in advange.

I just got the interview date so I am not longer envious. Congrat on your marriage and the baby.
