Does anyone knows what goes on at the NVC? What do they do and how long does it take? I called do they documnet the calls you make. I made a mistake and gave them the wrong Birthday of my Fiance? I hope this does not cause problems. My petition is with them and they say it takes about 3 weeks to get ot the Consulate. I hope it goes faster and I hope I do not have problems. What are some of the problems that can occur? Please give me you stories and inputs.

At NVC they run security checks, assign a case number to the petition and then forward it to the embassy/consulate.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.
