NVC

3/23/11 - NVC case number assigned

3/23/11 - Called NVC and gave email addresses to be added to case

3/26/11 - DS-3032 form received.

3/26/11 - Paid AOS fees online.

3/30/11 - AOS package received by NVC

4/8/11 - DS-230 Package IV fee payment option available, paid same day.

4/12/11 - Package IV fees shows as Paid. Mailed Package IV documents

4/14/11 - Package IV delivered to NVC.

4/26/11 - SIF!!

6/7/2011- Interview date

6/7/2011= Received 221g asking for co-sponsor

7/7/2011-VISA APPROVED

Congratulations!!! I'm so Happy for you for you. I just Saw My I 130 was approved 1/13/2011. I'm been calling NVC every day to see if they have the case yet. I leave to DR tomorrow and I want to make sure my husband has all the papers I need to bring them all back with and ready to send as soon as I have that NCV#. I'll Be praying for you since were in about the same time line. GOOD LUCK.............. :o:idea::dancing::energy::lol::)

I just got a text message stating that my petition has been updated. When I logged into my USCIS account, there was a notice saying that my NOA2 letter was mailed out today, January 19, approving my I-130!!!!

WHOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!

I am going to update my timeline for all of you... :) Good luck to you all.

Wooooo hooooo!!! More good news from the DR! I would say I'm jealous that you're leaving tomorrow, but now (suddenly) I'll be there in less than a month, so I'm just excited for you!!! Have a great time with your husband, and get ready for NVC!!!

2005---We met by friend/Church member that was living in Nigeria

2006---We begin to talk about getting married

2007---I was going to met him face to face, but hurt my back couldn't walk..

2009---Was able to see each for the first time.. I got my engagement ring (WOW).. :wow:

2010-01-22 mailed I129f

2010-01-26 got NOA1

2010-05-12 called to see why no NOA2, I was told that our case is not being processed yet!!!!! No notes in the computer

other then the mailing of the NOA1!!!!!!! :angry:

2010-05-18 called SERVICE CENTER again to see what's going on with our case.. NOT BEING PROCESSED YET I WAS TOLD AGAIN!!!

2010-06-16 Got notice that NOA2 was approved 141 days after NOA1. We got our approval on Ossy's Birthday.. Happy birthday honey, I love you!!!!

2010-06-21 got NOA2 in hand

2010-06-22 called NVC to see if papers was there, but was told that my DOB was not right in the system. Just mailed a letter along with a copy of my birth certificate asking to change my DOB.. Way to go VCS..

2010-06-22 NVC received the case

2010-06-23 Case sent to Embassy in Barbados

2010-06-28 Embassy received our case

2010-08-09 Interview Administrative Review

2010-11-15 Approved for Visa (I was on the mission to make sure the INTERVIEWER that we had never interviewed anyone else and I did it).. Know that you have right and don't let the interviewer cross the line..

2010-12-10 Visa and Passport in hand!!! Thank God!!!

2010-12-19 Ossy will enter the States!!

Ixsa...keep me posted on what documents you guys submit. I still need to call the NVC to see if anything was posted. I was too busy last night calling everybody. LOL.

Enjoy the DR...I was there for Christmas and New Year's...wish I could go back! I don't think I'll be there until the interview due to vacation time and funds.

Your NOA2 took 105 days. Eventually we're going to see NOA2's taking 30-50 days. Then by April or so it will go back up to 170 days. That's how the cycle spins. Congrats. :)
