I filed in mid june and i noticed that everyone who got the rfe wrote that it was sent on june 23 my noa 1 date is 6/26 so i think i missed the mass send out but now i am starting to worry that something is wrong i got touched on 7/6 and 7/11 but since then nothing so i started this topic to see if i am alone

Did you send the newer I-129F, the one with 3 pages, last page with questions like did you use an dating site to meet your fiance? If you used that form then you should not get and IMBRA RFE. Acording to the USCIS sites you should be conserned if you filed befor February 23.

You have some time before you should get conserned.

Be glad you dont get an RFE it just slows the process down, as long as you sent them a compleat package you should not get RFE.

The 2 inital touches probbly were for entering your case into the system and if you used the 3 page IMBRA I-129F noting that they dont need to send you an RFE for IMBRA. You may not see any touches untill just before they start processing your case, in October or November.

I also have not received my IMBRA RFE. I even called them last month - the person on the phone couldn't give any details other than I would be notified by email when they send it. My file was touched 3 times right after the call, but then nothing. After checking with them, I went ahead and sent them the new I-129F form as amendment, making it clear with cover letter and stickies that included my original petition receipt number. You might consider doing that. My hunch is that USCIS designated a cut off date where they presumed any petition received after that date would have used the new form. That's my guess. Also would explain why our petitions haven't been processed. I'm thinking their plan is to approve all pre-IMBRA petitions before proceeding further and unfortunately because of our NOA1 dates, they are assume we are post-IMBRA so we're not going to get looked at until all the March, April, and May petitions get processed. That's my best guess anyway.

my fiance filed our k1-petition. We received the noa june 21st. We used the old form which means that we are need to file the imbra rfe. but we did not receive any mail so far. And this is now more than 2 months!

My NOA1 date is June 23 and I have only gotten 1 touch on June 28. NO IMBRA yet and I used the old forms. Steven and Jinky, I like your idea about just sending in the new updated forms. Especially since, like you said, they probably are assuming that our papers have the new paperwork. Great suggestion!

You guys will get your RFEs when the processing at USCIS turns to your case. Do not worry. I do not think calls and emails can help for that unfortunately.

I filed in June with the old form also.. I haven't received my rfe either though. It is a little comforting that I'm not the only one. Hopefully that means everything is okay they are just going really, really, really slow, as normal.

All I can say is: be patient

We've tried everything: congressman, senators, letter to CSC director, sending copy of RFE to CSC, and nothing has worked so far. You can try them toon though, you might have better luck than us.

By the way, there's seveal of us with March NOA1 with no RFE's yet, so you are definitely not alone
