Nervous?!?!

I'm reading old posts...and it made me nervous. I sent my I-130 stuff out, but I didn't include any bona fide evidence, since I didn't have any of the required things on the list. Now I read that people sent their pictures and tickets and all that stuff. I thought this is only required for the interview?! Will I get a RFE now? Or should I send them all this stuff now, in addition?

You will probably get an RFE because you didn't include any bona-fide evidence.

You will need to wait for an RFE, as there will be no way for them to relate anything you send in now to your case. Just be prepared with the documents that way when you get the RFE, it can go back out quickly.

Good Luck.

No need to worry,we had the same thing,i was reading the forum and everybody out there send proofs we didn't,i freak out and called the lawyer that represent us,she had send all the papers for us,and she had explain that the I 130 form is for everybody, for couples already living together in the Us,and not required for newlyweds, which is our case. The marriage certificated it's enough. We are requested proof of bona fide marriage on the interview at the consulate.

Do gather whatever you can in the meantime. It won't hurt and in case they do send you RFE, you'll be prepared. I also didn't include much with our I-130. I'd only realized that stuff is important an hour before my hubby left home to mail it all. So I am sorta expecting an RFE. I'm currently going through our emails and chats and skype logs to save it all and send to him in case he needs it.

All I sent in were a few photos from my marriage ceremony and a copy of the marriage certificate and the form that the witnesses signed. For the interview you should gather any other evidence you think will help.

In my case for Newlyweds we live opposite sides of the globe, and I wanted to write on the I-130 lol no we don't live together, we didnt sign a lease and no we have no joint bank account.. It's like I wanted to say my wife is in Georgia and I am in America so how is this possible is she has no visa lol...

I did have my parents sign an affidavit stating the purpose of my trip and I did send photos of me and my wife signing the docuement at the Ministry Justice..

I dIdn't have at the time because it takes week to translate but I do have a copy of the witness papers that are translated, In case I get an RFE..I did send them a notarized copy of the if the marriage document written in georgia and translated to English.. So I hope this is good until the consulate interview..
