Think about this,

Did the economy go sour in 07 and rebound in 2010?

Did a bunch of you put off filling or going into this earlier because of the economy and then in 2010 jump on the bandwagon meaning there was huge surge of petitions? Petitions that would have been processed in 08 or 09 that caused a back log.

It has been 6 years, 4 months, 15 days since Irina and I met on the internet. And it has been 444 days Or 1 year, 2 months, 18 days since I last saw and touched her. I can write a book on delays in our journey which finally got a NOA2 Jan 13. Just look ahead and be thankful for your chance. If you want a tough story. I buried a wife, had 3 divorces, buried a fiancee, had kidney cancer (a casncer that is seldom found before it is too late), boone infection, 2 knee repair operations then replaced 2 knees and a hip from a life time of arthitis, and had prostate cancer since 1987. I learned to get up in the morning and smile and be thankful I was here period.

From Igor's list, almost all of the last 15 August approvals were all NOA's that were sent after ours - August 9th.

It is so frustrating that they are looking at files that came in after our file did. I know life isn't fair, somehow knowing that doesn't make this easier.

Also frustrating to know that when we do get our NOA2, the interview date in Cuba will probably be 7 months or so away.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Lol! It's allowed!

Wow! Thanks for sharing. Tough times don't last but tough people do. I hope on the long run you'll definitely have a reason to smile and say I MADE IT! Stay strong!

You can call USCIS and inquire about your case. Unfortunately, it is taking a long time to get petitions adjudicated at both VSC and CSC...

ughhh this is ridiculous as if they will give you the right answer or may give u false hope... :bonk:

Start making your phone calls and e-mails and writing to your Congress Member. We know they are going way over 5 months, but you waited patiently and played by their rules, and now it is time to make them play by their own rules too.

they set rules, they must do it... 5 months is over and there still a lot here hungry for NOA2 :bonk: what they been doing there?

I think we Aug.filers should expect our NOA2 on February.

i think so... i just want to see all July filers got theirs, and that would be a good sign for us on August filers. so sad...

I have the exact time line. My fiance will start calling on Monday though. Sending positive thoughts for quick approvals!!

wow really exact timeline... will just update here if you got any news from them, i will do the same.. calling, emailing, etc. etc. good luck to us all

I called and always got the standard "your case is not outside our processing time frame" Still made me feel good to call, like I was doing something instead of just waiting. We only waited 4 months though. CSC and VSC Both list 5months as there processing time frame which you are at. Hope it doesn’t go 6 months but if it does you then should be able to get an answer. But like someone else said they make the rules.

We called USCIS (CSC) 5 days after the 5 months were over and they told us, that we would have to wait some more. Then, a couple days later, we got the email with the NOA2. Altogether it took 160 days from the petition sent to the NOA2. It will come, I promise. Don't worry!!

We received our NoA1 in August 6 and we don't have any news yet.

Yesterday we called them and they made an inquiry to see what's going on in our case... they say that they have 30 days to answer it.

It requires a lot of patience...
