CR1 Visa Issuance Time Period in Islamabad Embassy Pakistan

I recently received a packet 3.5 from islamabad embassy on 18th August 2006 and sent them all the required documents on 23rd of August 2006. I wonder how long would it be, before they schedule my interview date. I have heard that it would not until January 2007 that my interview will be scheduled for. But when i went through different timelines for islamabad embassy on this website, i figured out that in majority of the cases, the time period involved between packet 3.5 and the issuance of CR1 visa is 3 months. I have also read about AR. I duno what the heck is AR though.
