i feel so lost..

hubby sent Aff of support without the barcoded cover sheet or even the receipt of payment for the AOS...

what should we do now? will it cause delays?

im gona be sending him my documents for DS230 asap. can he just add the cover sheet of AOS with it? omg.. im so lost...

badly need help :(

USCIS: I-130

  • 06/28/2010 - Married
  • 09/08/2010 - Mailed I-130
  • 09/20/2010 - NOA1
  • 12/012010 - NOA2
  • 12/08/2010 - NOA2 hard copy received

NVC

  • 12/08/2010 - Case received by NVC
  • 12/09/2010 - Received NVC Case # and IIN
  • 12/21/2010 - AOS fee paid
  • 01/05/2010 - e-Mailed DS-3032
  • 01/11/2011 - NVC accepted DS-3032; IV bill invoiced
  • 01/14/2011 - IV bill marked PAID

The sending proof that the payment was made for the AOS isnt necessary. NO..! Do not send the coversheet for the AOS along with the DS-230 documents.. No need to be lost.

IS there ANYTHING in the case that has your case number (written)...? I havent heard of this before but I hope the NVC will accept it and do manual research to assign the AOS documents to the correct case. Hope they will not trash it and then RFE you down the road.

here is the whole story..

my husband is here in the philippines with me.he came here just after we received the NOA2,so we have not paid aos or started the nvc process yet when he left US. he left the AOS package to my father-in-law and instructed him to send the package when we tell him to do so.. just today we learned that my in-law sent the package monday, and we just sent him the barcoded cover sheet today.

a cover page is attached to the AOS package, containing our case number. the only problem is, we dont exactly know, if my in-law was able to put that in the package he sent..

will NVC notify us when they receive the package?

how will we know that they trashed the AOS package? and does my husband need to go back ASAP to US just in case we get RFE?
