Interview date is September 13th in Montreal.

We are a bit confused about all the necessary paperwork...

1. I-864

2. Birth Certificate

3. Police record

Part items three and two concern me because we already sent these in and the have a copy of both. Why are we creating yet another copy when they actually have one already? I-864... I already sent this in, why are we bringing yet another copy (it was painful obtaining those tax returns).

Lastly, can someone tell me if we already paid for the Medical Exam (I believe it was part of another fee). Wasn't sure... trying to get ready for yet another $281 for an exam.

For our interview in Montreal, we brought a photocopy of our I-864. I had another certified copy of my BC and an original police certificate with me because I got them for the K-3 (but we canceled that because our CR-1 arrived at the consulate before our K-3 inerview).

Anyway, we weren't asked to show any of that stuff because they already had it (from NVC). They actually returned the certified copy of my BC and our marriage certificate to us that day (the ones we sent out with the DS-230 to NVC). So, I don't think you need to get anymore certified copies of the paperwork.

As for the medical, you pay the clinic/medical office who'll do your exam. I think I paid $ 200 + the cost of shots.

Good luck with your interview!
