  • 4 weeks later...

I am venting my frustrations too...

- Original 1-130 filed May 2009

- postponed original interview for important reason

- Got Interviewed - Oct 26, 2010

- RFE 221 required to submit I-864 of co sponsor, submitted Nov 10

- Dec 16 , 2010 , Embassy sent us email that our Medical expiring and had to do it 2nd time

- Done - Medical test passed and results sent thru DHL Jan 20, 2011

- Last week we called DOS and they said embassy received our documents and they are reviewing our papers.

Question:

If you called DOS and this is what they said to you, does it mean a thing?

Do you think the review will take another week or two or just days to the final verdict?

Please share your story...

Hey,i SENT all document requested has sent to montreal embassy passport, medical, police certificate, affidavit support since 15 NOV.2010 from now no words from the embassy i email no respond i dont know HOW LONG WE WAIT?

Call DOS, find out if you are in AP or if you have been approved and are waiting to get the visa printed. You don't leave much information to help you tho. If you are from another country living in Canada and your country has a required AP after interview, you could be in the AP position.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

DOS is generally pretty accurate because they can see your information. I would say 2-3 weeks if Montreal really is reviewing it right now. If its still in the mail room waiting to be opend tho I would expect a few months. Try calling DOS again in another week or so and see if they have any new information on it ( trying to ask Montreal wont get you very far cept for waiting around more )
