Hello everybody,

When I went to the USCIS

they gave me a paper with all papers I need by packet

Packet 1

I-130 petition for alien relative

copy of birth certificate of beneficiary

translation of birth certificate of beneficiary

copy of marriage certificate

copy of termination of previous marriage

copy of USA Passport of petitioner

G325A Biographical Information for both

passport photos for both

so my questions about this package

About birth certificate

if my passport it writing in french/english do i really need to give them my birth certificate plus translation

how many passport photo I should send in this package

about the G325A

for mine in the bottom I check "status as permanent resident"

but what about hers, she is the petitioner do I chack also ? or leave blank

If the BC has english already on it like a dual language document, then no further translation is needed.

For the USC I also put "status as Permanent Resident" although it may have been wrong. It didn't affect us though. I saw one person suggest putting other and writing I-130 petitioner. That sounds pretty good, but either way it won't make or break your application.

You also need to submit evidence of a bona fide marriage with the I-130. There is a list of suggestions in the instructions.

One last question for you. Are you also submitting a I-485 packet?

My BC is only in french, so i guess I should need a translation,

can I do this stuff myself ?, is not a big deal, just something like 10 lines

so ok I'll leave checked "status as Permanent Resident"

Some people do translations themselves. We hired someone so I don't know what people do. There are some other threads here about that topic.

Your package looks good, except you still don't show any proof of a bona fide marriage for your I-130. (Maybe you just didn't write it in your list). Good luck.

You have totally right, the bona fide marriage is missing, I guess I'll check the list of suggestions in the instructions.
