I would say that photo would NOT be able to be used as your intent to marry for immigration...no.

Right. And furthermore, it shouldn't be used. You wouldn't want anyone to get the idea that you are already married, it could cause problems.

If it's for a K1 forget about it, because it might raise the issued that maybe she's already married assuming they don't see it's a fake photo, they might think you are trying to deceive them. for all Joke purposes and friends chit chat it's cool, but not for any official papework.

sheesh.... I didn't find it creepy nor did I think he was serious about using it as evidence. Lighten up folks, just seems excited to be marrying a lovely lady. I'm sure the "creepy" bandwagon will continue in full blown out proportion though.

the dress in the pic looks nice.. but would it looks as nice on a normal (not model) person?

everytime i try on a dress i like from the picture or on a show.. it looks so different on me and i ended up dont like it.. but if her figure are similar to a model then that's a different story..

But for me.. a wedding dress is only for what I like.. more than what Bram like.. and it's more important that it's what I like and then Bram also like it :D

its just a picture, she still can pick the dress ... she'll come here and then we go to that designer and she can pick the one she likes best.

and im not like most guys neither im a stylist. im just pro with photoshop bc of years of experience and front covers on fashion magazines with my work.

dont you ever try a dress on before you buy it? well that is trying on a dress without beiing here ... sorry for sharing my enthousiasm

don't be sorry.

those other guys are being weird.

in fact it seems like a lot of people on VJ are very edgy lately--is it the moon?

but you would not want to use a picure like that for intention to marry.

you'd have to convince them it wasn't real.

it's the quote with bold above that gives me idea of that you are choosing a wedding dress for her ..

Ofcourse i try dresses before i buy.. :P just not my wedding dress.. i had a designer design my dress and i only saw the drawing.. but i tried some other kind of wedding dress to get to see what look good on me

I can understand your enthousiasm though.. but as i said above.. seems like i misunderstand your word!

edit to say.. the dress really look nice.. i'd be so happy if i can fit in those kinda dress... just in my dream though :crying:

Didn't mean to blow anything out of proportion, I thought his question was genuine. Stranger things have been asked!

True enough...my "out of proportion" remark was to the "creepiness" aspect...hehe.

Ah well...some folks do just like to read something where there may be nothing there. Once again, not directed in any particular direction. B)

No offense taken B)

I just have a thing about putting heads on different bodies. I can't stand when people do it and put a picture up on their office door of them 'with' the Beatles...stuff like that. At best cheesy, at worst, like when you're photo shopping someone ELSE's head, sorry bit creepy for me.

No offense meant here either B)

And so he did what countless punk-rock songs had told him to do so many times before: he lived his life

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Good luck out there!

You're not alone. Once my mother photoshopped her head onto a manatee body. My brother, then about four, cried for weeks begging her to take it down. At the age of 14 he still has an irrational fear of manatees. :)

Well I think that she will look beautiful, and I think it's a fun idea to see her head against different dresses - provided they are on the right body type, so you don't inadvertantly make her feel like she needs to lose weight :P

Something else you might like is a site called "My Virtual Model" (www.mvm.com) - you can "build" yourself (or your fiancee) and take yourself shopping at online stores which offer the option for your virtual model to try on clothes!
