DCF question, London

Hi,

Come March my wife will have lived here for 6 months.

We want to return to the US but to avoid the long wait to get me a VISA we would like to do the DCF route.

Our idea is that we petition and my wife immediately returns to the US and starts work, so she can act as my sponsor.

She has tax returns from the previous 3 years (although this years will only show half of her wage as she was here for 6 months) which show her earnings being good enough to sponsor me.

Is this likely to work? will the tax returns and a letter from her new employer be sufficient to sponsor me?

thanks a lot

Nige

Yes, should be.

in the case of UK, you can also in part self sponsor, you you can show transfer of assets from US to USA. US Spouse still needs to be primary sponsor though.
