I put the wrong previous marriage date on I-129F

Hello, i was browsing the copy of the I-129F and G-325A that i sent and just found out that i filled the "wrong date of the termination of marriage". How will i change it? Will this be a reason to get RFE? Or i can just tell my fiance to have it change during her interview? Thank you.

wait and see if you get a rfe,if not then when you send your divorce decree, and go to the interview, you may have to get the date changed maybe other vj members can tell you more,about this.

Don't worry if they notice that when they do a check they will RFE you to send in another copy of divorce decree. They need them to be spot on with your petition as your fiancee may have hassles at interview like I did. They had my NOW husbands divorce decrees but mislayed one of them and would not give me my visa till they had it.

I made the mistake in the form I-129F and G-325A . Will they require to send a new form with the corrected dates?

More than likely yes. All t's must be crossed and I's dotted . Also depends on what the mistake was if it is only small like missed a box or something then they may tick it for you but if it is dates or a signature then they will rfe you for sure.

If either petitioner or beneficiary have been married previously, they have to provide divorce decrees for all previous marriages to prove that they are 'free to marry' currently.

Yes, if you are previously married, you should. Am so stupid for not double checking it lol! I wrote the date when it was filed not the date that it was signed by the judge!
