Ok, it's been 4 months and no answer from CSC. The case was transfered to them in Septermber 2010. What should I do? Anybody in the same boat with us? I understand that each case is different and all that, but I guess 4 months is the average wait time for CSC. What should I do? Should I contact CSC? When I call the number given to me, all they say is that the case was transfered to CSC and that we have to wait. Online, the case status tool says the same. Should I send a letter to CSC to let them know about the case? Is it normal for CSC to take longer than 4 months? Please, give me some advice.

Its actually 5 months not 4 right now so you have another month to wait. Even if you call them they will tell you to wait an other 180 days. Most people are getting their approvals around 6 months.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Both CSC and VSC are taking up to and beyond the 5 months mark. CSC is slightly ahead though, so good news for you.

Either way, calling them before the 5 month mark will get you nowhere. All you can do right now is wait, like everyone else here.

Hope you hear something soon

Yep, it's taking a loooong time right now. When you and I filed back in the late summer/fall people were receiving their NOA2's after 3 or 4 months but NOW 5 or 6 seems to be about right. And within the average time it varies quite a bit from case to case. You may want to join the rest of us that are obsessively checking the changing statistics. Graphs, tables and timelines galore. We filed for my wife's AOS in June 2010. It was transferred in July 2010 to CSC. My wife received her EAD and Advanced Parole mid Aug 2010. There was no additional touch's until Dec 02,2010 telling us that she was approved. Green card was issued on Dec 15th,2010 and we received it around Jan 4th. You can expect it to take at least 6 months with how slow CSC is processing. Good luck!
