While completing the above listed form, my wife is unable to answer the question of her mother and fathers birth date. ( month and date )

Both were born in Thailand and at that time ( late 1940's ) , the family recorded the birth with the local govt office, but as weird as this sounds...never paid attention to the actual birth date.

It is not included in the offical records either, just the year of birth.

So, should I just put the year in the box?

Thanks in advance.

I just made a note the the birthdate was approximate due to lack of written records. Worked fine

Thanks..

The problem is that neither know what month they were born in..just the year. Should I just write in a month ( my choice ) ?

Khun Ma, by the power invested in me as a USC, you are now born in the month of June!

Khun Pa- by the power invested in me, your birthday is now December 25th! B-)

Don't make things up. Put what you know (the year) and if you feel it is necessary, include an attachment explaining why only the year is known. Good luck.

I didn't even have a good year for his mother. So her birth date became abt 1933 For the father abt May 1930

Explaination was there was no written record at all for the mother and date was based on the approxiamte age difference between parents and the fathers record was that year was know but month is approximate

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
