How to go about getting the Immigration Physical?

I would call your family physician's office in Canada, and ask them for a copy of your previous medical records. They may require you to fax in a "consent of release of medical information." (which they can fax/mail to you). If they wont give them to you directly, then have them fax/send it to your new family physician's office, or the CS's office (again, you will require a "consent of release"). Have the information for your new physician's office all ready (fax, phone, street address, etc). They will likely charge a fee for this (sometimes it's by the page, or can be around a hundred dollars, it's all up to the physician). You can consider just asking for all your records related to vaccinations.

Yes, there are ways of checking if someone has been vaccinated for different things (eg. MMR, Hepatitis B) by doing blood tests, but often those test results take a week or longer to come back. Sometimes it is easiest just to get certain vaccinations done over again (ie, tetanus, esp since it requires a 10 year booster) if you don't have records. Just get as much info as possible from your doctor in Canada, and then take it to the CS, and they will help you figure it out (hopefully).

Some vaccinations are not recommended in pregnancy, and XRays are generally avoided if possible as well, so if this could be the case, be sure to mention it to the CS!

Good luck.

I think it would be easier to get the titer tests done then get the vaccinations over again.. yeah you have to wait a week or so but that isn't very long to wait... it is probably even quicker and less of a hassle then trying to contact a doctor in Canada
