Can someone please explain what i should expect at POE (with CR/IR-1)? How long does it usually take? did you stand on a line with US PR/Citizens or non-US citizens? should I tell my wife arrive at the airport late? I would appreciate it if you could share this.

Thanks

Hi there. It really does not matter on what line you get, either way they will take you to a secondary room. I traveled with my husband (he's the USC) and we got on the USC/LPR line because it was WAYY shorter than the visitors line. There is really no guessing on how long it will take, however you can review the POE reviews from other members, as we all know some airports are busier than others. My POE was Houston, and had a layover of 2 hours, it was barely enough to make it through customs and immigration.

yeah POE reviews seem to be heavily populated with reviews from folks with K-1. I was interested in reading some reviews on CR/IR. Thanks for your comments guys.
