to everyone who got approved in january congrats to us and for those still waiting i really hope you get yours soon.

im posting this to seek help from my fellow pinays who just went thru recently on preparing if not still on the process of preparing for interview and ofcourse to those who can contribute helpful tips for this matter.

so i read on that DS 156/157 etc has been replaced with DS 160 form?

can you please share your experience with me step by step?

DS-156, not DS-160.

DS-160: Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application (for all nonimmigrant categories except K, N, S, T, U applications)

DS-156: Nonimmigrant Visa Application (K, N, S, T, U category applications only)

Moving this to the Embassy/consulate forum...

well it confuse me coz i just read this on USEM manila

Effective May 24, 2010, all nonimmigrant visa applicants will be REQUIRED to complete and submit an online visa application form known as the DS-160 Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application. The DS-160 Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application will replace the current nonimmigrant visa paper application, Forms DS-156/157/158, and other related paper forms.

Applicants can access the DS-160 from the Consular Electronic Application Center website or from the link on the U.S. Embassy website in Manila.

They are talking about Visitor/Tourist/Business/Student visas That link goes to the Nonimigrant visa unit of the embassy.

K-Visas are handled by the IMMIGRANT visa unit. That part of the site has form link directly to the page I referenced in my prior post.
