Hahah you think they have a choice??? no .. My family is from Iraq my aunt 2 cousins and uncle just came to the US 2 years ago... Oh wait .. that is right my uncle never made it to the US because he had to fight in Saddams army against his will and was killed.. They were Christians.. they had no choice.. They had no vote.. If they had freedom they would have..

When dealing with democrats you have to remember that whenever they say, "we are for the people, for the poor bla bla bla" they basically mean whoever will get 'their' buddies into office.. We are talking about a party who is willing to die for gay rights, yet kill off religion.

Hates bush, hates halliburton, hates oil money etc. Yet, have no problem at all with their buddies inheriting billions of dollars, or their idol actors earning millions or rappers flaunting their $35K grill, encouraging crime and generally scum who have contributed nothing back to their communities.

Why would they care about humans in crisis in another country when they are too busy getting plastic surgery in LA... What's more important now.. Like whatever!!

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

You say you take "pride" in being prematurely right. I say you are dead wrong.

Gary, are you saying that you still think invading Iraq was the right thing to do? I'm posing a hypothetical- given all of the benifits of hindsight, given everything we know today, do you believe the invasion was a good idea?- I mean the timing, everything.

As a matter of fact I do think it was right. The way things were done in Iraq after we got that SOB were done wrong and I have no problems laying the blame on Bush for that. But yes, I think it was right to do.

We did?

Not to mention, outside of the people of Iraq who did Saddam pose a direct, tangible threat to - bearing in mind he was militarily contained?

What kind of argument is that?

Even the administration have admitted that they have found nothing, and much of the evidence suggesting that there was an advanced research, design and manufacturing programme has turned out to be either greatly exaggerated or completely fabricated.

What do you think we could have done differently that would have made things turn out better?

Yeah, I'm going to side with erekose on this one. I was pretty convinced once the administration said it looked like they weren't going to find anything. Why would they lie about that?

Yeah too bad we have to abide by those pesky rules of engagement, geneva convention and international human rights laws.

Nice piece of collateral damage always goes down well - especially when you can blame it on the tactics of the other side.

Hit what harder and stronger? And how could we play by unspoken rules without causing more people in that region to hate us? Look at Abu Ghraib. This one incident was plastered over the news and used as a reason for muslims actually living in the U.S to fly to the Middle East and sneak into Iraq to fight against us.

Because all the problems of the world can be solved by more and bigger bombs. In that perspective I can totally understand why Iran might want nuclear weapons. ;)
